Super Visa

SUPER VISA

A Canadian super visa helps parents and grandparents visit their children for up to 2 years at a time. This special visa offers multiple entries into the country and prevails for up to a 10-year span. To apply for the Super Visa to Canada, it is significant to be the parent or grandparent of a citizen or permanent resident of Canada. It is crucial to also have a signed letter in hand from your grandchildren or children who are inviting you to go stay with them. Along with this, there should be an obligation letter where the grandchild/child must agree to promise to support the entire length of the visit. The letter must also outline how many people live in the home and demonstrate that they can support you during your visit. The letter must also include proof of your child/grandchild’s Canadian PR or citizenship.

It is also vital to take medical insurance from an insurance company in Canada. While applying for the visa, you need to show proof of medical insurance of minimum $100,000 coverage with the validity of at least a year enclosed with the payment proof for the insurance.

The parent/grandparent is also required to undergo a medical examination and provide biometrics. It is important to remember that the child/grandchild in Canada must provide proof of income to meet the minimum necessary income by providing documents such as a Notice of Assessment or employment letters.
